As an approved vendor for TIAA, WLP Consultants works closely with Business Readiness and Learning to strategize, design and develop custom learning solutions. Dawn Papaila continues to serve as Program / Project Manager for mission-critical learning programs.
Notable Results: Designed a gamified solution to improve the application of Trade Dates to customer requests. Created a SharePoint knowledge base to support new hires across 21 roles within the Individual Client Services department. Redesigned the onboarding training for Wealth Managers from a quarterly, facilitated, cohort event into a self-paced blend that employs mobile micro-learning and the Allego video coaching platform.
Partnered with GP Strategies to assist Bank of America’s Global Learning Organization (GLO). Analyzed requests for training development from their internal clients so that GLO could properly allocate resources. Worked with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Consumer Banking, Human Resources and Global Technology and Operations to create high level designs for learning and performance support solutions.
Notable Results: Designed a Sharepoint site to serve as a learning hub for Global Disaster Recovery Planning. Step-by-step learning paths offer novice and experienced planners access to information as needed. This easy-to-update solution can be maintained by the Line of Business unlike the Web-based training that it replaced.
Served as Tata Interactive System’s (TIS) principle consultant to the Training Director for Northwest Airline’s Technical Operations group. Developed a competency model for Maintenance Technician job role and analyzed the existing curriculum against those competencies.
Notable Results: Created a comprehensive list of job tasks. Inventoried existing training to define learning objectives. Identified training gaps and redundancies. Client received documented, reusable methodology and supporting Excel-based tools to apply the same systematic approach to the redesign of their training programs. Suggested a set of prerequisite knowledge-based tasks that could be developed in an eLearning format in order to reduce expense of classroom-based training.
